I take care of my grandmother, who has dementia. I got this table in hopes that she would be willing to use it. Luckily, she really liked it and immediately took to it. It has been very helpful and has made both of our lives much easier. Especially with preventing messes in her bed when she's eating. It also provides her with a good place to sit and store things instead of piling them all over her bed. Which helps her keep up with them much better. Especially small items like her phone and tv remote that she used to often lose in the blankets of her bed. Therefore requiring me to have to come find them for her 15 to 20 times a day! So needless to say, getting this table was definitely a good decision. It is very well made and is quite rigid and sturdy. Which isn't always the case with overbed tables, given the way they are designed. It was quick and easy to assemble and I believe only took me about 15 minutes or so. It's really easy to adjust up and down, and even she can do it herself when needed. I did lightly grease the support beam to help it slide a little easier for her when pushing it down. Which made it very smooth to do. It's smaller wheels aren't the greatest on carpeted floors, but it will still roll when needed, and luckily we don't need to move it very much. I can definitely say that it has been very helpful and a game changer for both of us. It was absolutely worth getting and I would highly recommend it.
